Better sleep is possible

Therapy for Insomnia in Houston

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) can help.

Does this sound familiar?

You lie awake in the middle of the night, thoughts swirling. You were hoping tonight would be one of the few good nights, since you have a big day tomorrow. But it seems like that’s not going to be the case, yet again…

You’re so tired, and you desperately want to just SLEEP already. But you can’t.

You’ve tried everything. Melatonin, adjusting the temperature, blackout curtains, removing your phone from the room. You’ve even gone to the doctor, but they can’t find anything that can explain what’s going on. Maybe you’ve finally gotten treatment for sleep apnea, but you’re STILL struggling with insomnia. You’re feeling frustrated and just want some relief.

Relief from the hours spent awake in your bed, wondering if you’ll ever fall asleep. Relief from the constant stress of worrying about how you’re ever going to function on such little rest.

We now offer an evidence based therapy to improve your sleep, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). In just a few sessions, we work together to train your mind and body to fall asleep more quickly and easily, maximizing your rest and minimizing the time spent lying awake in bed.

Our solution

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)

CBT-I is a safe and effective treatment, focusing on examining and making changes to what you think and what you do related to sleep. Research shows it can be as effective as sleep medication, but without all of the side effects.

The process of treating insomnia with CBT-I is relatively simple and straightforward. We start with an assessment, where we learn more about your sleep struggles and rule out any other issues that may be impacting your sleep. We’ll then focus on new tools and skills, creating an individualized sleep plan to retrain your body and mind and give you relief. Each session will come with a workbook to help reinforce what you are learning and ensure you’ll have the material available to reference.
